There are so many wonderful and interesting things to see here in Sandusky and Erie County. We suggest that you take a look at all that we have here in the area by checking out our Visitors Bureau. Not only is the Simpson Flint House located in the heart of Downtown Sandusky, we are 10 minutes drive to Cedar Point.
Downtown Sandusky
Enjoy a day of cruising on many of the Lake Erie Cruises. Excursions leave from downtown Sandusky or leave from Port Clinton on the Jet Express and head out to the Historical Lake Erie Islands, Put-in-Bay or Kelley's Island.
Wineries
Visit the many Wineries that we have here in there area, such as Firelands Winery, Mon Ami Restaurant and Historical Winery or even the Pelee Island Winery.
Cedar Point
Then, of course, we must not forget the best attraction of all - Cedar Point. Known as the largest and "Best Amusement Park in the World" enjoy a thrilling day of roller coasters- 16 of them (The Millennium Force will drop you 310 feet at 92 MPH, the only one of it's kind!), live shows, IMAX Theater and Camp Snoopy. You can also experience the sensation of weightlessness on 2005's newest attraction, the MaXair thrill ride. For those hot summer days try Soak City Water Park or Castaway Bay. With both adjacent to Cedar Point, it is a wonderful way to cool-off!
